Dorm Design & Furnishings Return Policy

Our Dorm Design & Furnishings Division provides a curated mix of in-stock essentials and custom-designed pieces created specifically for each student space. Because of the seasonal and custom nature of many items, our return policies are outlined below.

Please review carefully prior to purchase.


Custom Dorm Packages & Made-to-Order Items

All custom, personalized, or made-to-order items are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Custom bedding packages
  • Personalized decor
  • Custom upholstery or headboards
  • Monogrammed items
  • Special-order fabrics or finishes
  • Items modified from standard specifications

Once a custom order has been processed or production has begun, it cannot be canceled, changed, returned, or refunded.

Deposits for custom items are non-refundable.

We encourage customers to carefully review selections, sizing, measurements, school-specific housing guidelines, and personalization details prior to approval.


In-Stock Dorm Essentials

In-stock, non-custom items may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery or pickup, subject to the following conditions:

  • Item must be unused and unwashed
  • Item must be in original packaging
  • Tags must remain attached
  • Item must not have been installed or assembled
  • Return must be pre-approved

Due to seasonal demand, returns may be subject to:

  • A restocking fee of up to 25%
  • Non-refundable shipping or delivery charges
  • Return shipping costs (customer responsibility)

Refunds are issued to the original form of payment once items are inspected and approved.


Damaged or Missing Items

All items must be inspected upon delivery or pickup.

Any damage, defects, or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of receipt and accompanied by photographs.

Failure to report issues within this timeframe may limit our ability to offer a replacement or file a carrier claim.


Installation & Delivery Services

Delivery and installation fees are non-refundable once services have been performed.

Refusal of delivery does not qualify as a return.


Seasonal & Move-In Considerations

Dorm move-in timelines are strict. We are not responsible for returns or exchanges due to:

  • Incorrect room measurements
  • University housing changes
  • Roommate changes
  • Move-in date adjustments

Please confirm all housing details prior to ordering.
